WALK-THRU: Installing InheriTax Updates

Here's a step-by-step walk-through for updating an existing installation of InheriTax to the latest version.

Installing InheriTax updates takes between 3 and 5 minutes.  There's a 3 minute video below that shows you the process from start to finish.  

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Make sure you have local administrative privileges.  If you don't have your IT folks on hand.
2. Temporarilly disable anti-virus software.
3. Download the latest version of InheriTax here.  
4. Launch the downloaded file which will be named something like 'pa2021-265.exe'.  Be sure to 'allow' the installation to proceed if prompted by your operating system.
5. Step through the installation wizard.  Password:  paitax
6. The upgrade process usually takes a minute or so.
7. You're good to go!
