Every year we release updates to 6-in-1 to support the latest tax forms, changes in tax law, and to enhance the product.  This article includes step-by-step instructions to install these updates for Server Edition users running the FileMaker 20 (2023) version of our product on Windows Server 2019, or 2022.  Screen shots for these instructions are based on Windows Server 2019, but can easily be adapted for users running Server 2022.

6-in-1 supports single-user and multi-user installations.  Multi-user installations are supported for both Windows and macOS.  In this environment, 6-in-1 users on either platform can connect to the shared 6-in-1 database hosted on a server running Windows or macOS.  The two platforms work seamless together.  This article offers step-by-step dirctions for installing the FileMaker Server component on a server running Windows Server.
